Cheryl Moskowitz, LCSW

Do you find yourself wanting more for yourself but not sure of where to begin? Does self-doubt get in your way of revealing who you are? These questions and many more are where we begin. Everyone has a story to tell but may not know the way to tell it out loud. I believe that speaking your truth is therapeutic and choosing to seek support is extremely powerful. I believe in authenticity and providing a space where you can be and find your best self.

I have over ten years of experience providing therapeutic spaces to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I use an eclectic approach and tailor supports to fit your needs. I believe in the healing process that occurs in individual, family, group, and couples therapy. I am here to join with you and provide you with the support you deserve.

I have a post master's certificate in Clinical Practice with Adolescents from NYU School of Social Work and completed an Emotional Focused Therapy Externship with the New York Center for Emotional Focused Therapy.

Sally 2.jpeg

Sally Stone, MA, LMHC

I am a licensed psychotherapist, who provides tele-mental health counseling services to meet the needs of various populations. For several years, I served people from all backgrounds. I have significant experience with the LGBTQIA community, individuals who are gender fluid, non-binary, and who are of all ethnic and religious backgrounds.

My participants are usually:

1) navigating major transitions in their lives

2) experiencing relationship or marital discord

3) dealing with recurrent trauma, and are having challenges coping with stressors.

I don't believe in a “one-size fits all” therapeutic approach; I primarily employ person-centered, strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused-brief therapy when working with participants.

Daniel Arenas, LMSW

Hello, my name is Daniel Arenas. I received an MSW from Silberman School of Social Work. I have approximately 20 years of working in various social service settings. I've worked with children, families and adults. I am well trained in Motivational Interviewing, and utilize CBT, Trauma Informed Care, and Healing Center Engagement. I approach each therapeutic collaboration with cultural sensitivity. I feel an eclectic approach with an understanding of various techniques, philosophies and modalities works well. I see benefits in finding humor, building Transformational Relationships and aim for a space where more joy and self-acceptance can grow stronger roots.

Andrea Stone, LMSW, CGCS

She partners with individuals to enhance their strengths and reduce learned patterns of thinking and behaving that function as deterrents to experiencing a stable state of peace. Her years of experience include supporting individuals in various phases of substance use recovery, developing adaptive coping mechanisms to help decrease and manage depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), bereavement and other areas of concern.

Yvanessa Demosthenes, MSW

My name is Yvanessa Demosthenes and I am a graduate student at St. Bonaventure University seeking a degree in Clinical Mental Counseling. As an intern, I am learning about core counseling skills, how to apply them while working with clients, and to always provide a safe space for each client to feel comfortable. I am passionate about Mental Health Counseling due to my desire to make sure that every individual has access to counseling and support to overcome life-associated stressors.

Most recently, I worked with an organization in partnership with HRA as a member of the Administrative team. My time in that role allowed me to serve members of the public who were experiencing homelessness and housing issues, rebuilding their lives after incarceration, and financial hardships along with life stressors.

I was born in Haiti, migrated to the United States at nine years old, and I often go back to visit my family. I am fluent in English and Haitian Creole. During my spare time, I like to travel, bake, do yoga, and spend time with friends and family.

I want to provide enough support for my clients so that they can go into the world with confidence that they can handle life's challenges, but to also to know that they have someone to help them when they feel overwhelmed.

Jasmine Jones, LMSW

Welcome! I am glad you stopped in. Making the decision to start therapy can yield a myriad of emotions therefore job well done. Life sometimes has a way of throwing curve balls that can be difficult to navigate however you are not alone and together we will work through identified challenges. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and career and relational issues utilizing eclectic therapy while incorporating solution-focused, strength-based, and cognitive behavioral therapy. As everyone has a different life experience and a unique way of seeing and/or engaging with the world the therapeutic approach is not a one size fits all. I believe providing and fostering a safe and supportive environment further assists in improving the communication of thoughts and discovery as well as enhancing strengths and narrative that highlight and enable you to be your authentic self.
